This bespoke service is especially valuable for production companies or corporate entities hosting personnel in the GCC who may lack local insurance coverage. In such cases, navigating the regional healthcare system—whether for medication, prescriptions, illness, or injury typically requires upfront payment, as many international insurers are not registered for direct billing with hospitals across the GCC.
AMARA Healthcare
AMARA Healthcare manages all medical payments on behalf of the patient, ensuring that charges are necessary, appropriate, and, where possible, discounted. Unwarranted diagnostics, such as blood tests, ultrasounds, or MRI’s, are avoided unless they are clinically justified and proportionate to the patient’s symptoms.
Where appropriate, AMARA offers home visits to reduce stress and increase efficiency. AMARA arranges transport and personally accompanies the patient for hospital or clinic appointments to guarantee professional care and advocacy throughout the visit.
Once treatment is complete, all medical reports and documentation are compiled into a single, itemised invoice for settlement by the production company, corporate entity, or patient. The payee can then submit this documentation to their insurer, such as FUTI or equivalent, according to the insurer’s reimbursement process.
